This weekend is the Illinois State Track and Field Meet, hosted at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. We have 6 athletes going down to compete in 9 different events. The prelims are run on Friday morning, with finals being completed on Saturday. Prelims usually begin around 9am on Friday. The official schedule will be released tomorrow, so a more specific schedule will be sent out tomorrow.
Please note: This weekend, the school has official responsibility for only those competing. Anyone wishing to attend the prelims on Friday will need to be excused from school by their parent. Please communicate with Linda in the main office if you plan on allowing your student to miss school to attend the prelims. Any transportation needs for those not competing are also the responsibility of those students' parents.
