These athletes will need to be at CCHS as soon as possible after school ends. Throwing events start at 4p!! All other field events start at 4:30p. The shot put throw ring is concrete and located on the north end of the stadium. Discus is a concrete ring located approximately 2 miles off site. A shuttle service to and from the discus area will be provided for coaches and athletes.
Directions to Discus Area:
Go south on Airport Road to Empire Street (Route 9). It will be the first stop light.
Turn left on Empire Street. Go to the 2nd stop light and turn left on Haeffele Way.
Turn right on Gerig Road. Gerig Road turns into Ekstam Drive. Discus area is ½ mile on the right.
Order of Events
1st = High Jump (Start 4’2’) 2nd = High Jump (Start 5’0’)
2nd = Shot Put 1st = Shot Put
2nd = Long Jump 1st = Long Jump
1st = Pole Vault 2nd = Pole Vault
Triple jump will be done together immediately after long jump.
5:15pm: Final Running events, no preliminaries. Girls run before boys in all events.
