If you are not participating in tomorrow's meet, please remember there are
many ways to assist your teammates. Helping with blocks, warm-ups and
encouragement are always good. I have been impressed with the way our team
conducts themselves at meets. Please remember ... you are not allowed to run
along side of a participant while they are in an event. You are also not to congregate
around the finish line as it interferes with the auto timers and keeps coaches
from being able to see starts/finishes. I was proud of the fact Bloomington's
coaches recognized how our team conducted themselves Tuesday .... so the above
is just a reminder!
I am looking forward to the level of competition tomorrow. Come to the meet
focused, prepared and ready to compete. I know for a fact there will be many
athletes wanting to test themselves against us ... let's make them earn any
success they have tomorrow.Remember this afternoon is the baseline testing to be used in case we have any concussion issues during our season. Distance will go directly to the testing at 3:10p and sprint/field event athletes will go at 4p. We will be practicing when not testing so come ready to go.
