The weather promises to be much cooler today!  The girls have been asked to bring extra warm clothes to include a hat and gloves.  A blanket for sitting in the metal stands may be in order for the brave fans attending.

I want to say thank you to our many loyal fans who have been attending the meets ... many of you have helped us out at events also and it is very much appreciated.  It is great to see and hear you in the stands!

The coaches see how hard the athletes work and it is nice to see their effort recognized and appreciated.

The girls have been asked to plan on staying the entire meet to support their team.  Exceptions to this policy will be made when parents ask but should be reserved for school related activity or family plans. This meet ended last year around 8p.

This is a large meet and we are excited to compete against some of the area's best athletes.  We have a few athletes recovering from what we hope are minor injuries and will not be competing tonight.  Although we wish them quick recoveries, this gives a few more athletes the opportunity to compete and we hope they, and their biggest supporters, enjoy the experience!

We have some important meets coming up in the next few weeks ... dates to remember are:

  • April 22, Girl's Intercity @ Bloomington Central Catholic High School.
  • April 30, JV Cornbelt Conference Meet @ Bloomington Central Catholic High School.
  • May 3, Varsity Cornbelt Conference Meet @ Prairie Central
  • May 9, Sectionals (State Qualifier) @ Dunlap
Hope to see you tonight!

Quote of the Day:
"Set your goals high because what a person accomplishes is in proportion to what they attempt."
