Outstanding meet on Saturday ... we had many event winners as well as a new school/meet record by Gabi Jacobs in the Discus. Her throw of 144' 04" broke her old record of 137'. Great job ladies!
Tomorrow we have a Fresh/Soph meet at Bloomington High School where we will be taking some, but not all, of our FS athletes and a quad meet at Clinton HS. I will be going to the Bloomington FS meet and Coach Neisler will be going to Clinton. The high temp tomorrow is forecast as 44. By the time the meet ends, it will be much colder. Please ensure your athlete brings warm clothes and even a blanket to help them stay warm between events.
Athletes assigned to the BHS Fresh/Soph meet will NOT have a bus to BHS. As with all intercity meets, they will need to have rides. Please let me know if your athlete cannot get a ride to the meet and I will come by school to get them. Field events begin at 4p. Athletes assigned to field events should be at BHS as close to 3:30p as possible. All other athletes assigned here should be at BHS at 4p. The assignments for the BHS Fresh/Soph meet are as follows:
